Friend afraid of guns

There may be circumstances in the home, visitors with small kids, some issue with liability and maybe he just feels better having them secured in the garage or an out building.

Nope, no small kids. His "kids" go shooting with him every week. He has security for his firearms but has never kept one there.

Thanks for your opinion, i guess I should leave him to decide.

As other posters have also said, it's his house and he makes the rules, just as you do in yours.

I have a good friend of over 15 years that I've known since high school. His parents live near me, and on occasion when he visits this area I might end up stopping by his parents house with him. My friend is very pro-gun, but his father is an absolute ANTI and believes that all guns, expecially handguns should be banned. He has made it clear that he wants no guns in his house!

While I don't respect his opinion, I must respect his wishes while on his property.

Original poster: Since your friend is older and probably well set in his ways, it's unlikely that he will change his mind. Possible, but unlikely. Don't risk a good friendship over it.
