I'd like to show my support, but I can't help but feel that these things let the goblins know that you keep a gun in your car, or on your person. Even if you don't, you may come out one morning to find that you car was broken into, and you need a new window.

I have a license plate the bears a pro-2A message, one that a lot of people probably can't even figure out when they're sitting behind me at a traffic signal.

There's been a lot of discussion about the wisdom or folly of posting "I'm a gun guy" signs of various types, and we've never settled anything. Nor will we. Court will remain indefinitely on session on whether it's mostly an unnecessary risk or mostly a viable deterrent.

I can see both sides of the coin. one where it obviously points you out as a gunner to authorities or criminals.

On the criminal side though it might also help to act as thug repellent in that they figure odds might not be in their favor if they were eying you up for a car jacking or something else.

yep, I see your point Viottato but truly not worried about those parts....I don't care that it could be a visual deterrent or an invitation for a criminal, I'm merely showing my support. If my vehicle gets damaged because of it, well, that's what I have insurance for.

I refuse to be a sheeple (and, I am absolutely NOT directing this statement to anyone in particular) because I feel afraid to show what I believe in....no different than people still running around with "I voted for Obama" bumper stickers. I almost ran off the road the other day because I couldn't see through my tears from laughing when I saw THIS bumper sticker on the Baltimore Beltway "You can thank me because I voted for Obama".
