Legal for regular California citizen to sell a little ammo?

Hi,
Legal for regular California (San Diego County) citizen to sell a little ammo? I have a box of shotgun shells and would like to sell it for a few bucks. Is it legal? Can I just post on a forum like this and sell them to anyone I deem to be of proper age?

I no longer have a gun so I no longer need the shells, Brand name: ACTIV: Red Hornets: They are 20 guage. 25 Shells total in box. They are 2 1/2 X 7/8 oz X 8 shot /Special Dove and
Target Loads.
