Watching Mail Call right now (awesome show) and they're shooting a glock 18 fully automatic pistol. Too cool. If only it wasn't a Glock.

Seen pictures of full auto pistol conversions before, but never one in action. 33 rounds of pure unadulterated joy. Man that looks like fun. Never knew it was so much fun to make fruit salad.

I've shot Alan's Glock (machineguntours) quite a bit. It is controllable enough to keep long bursts on an IPSC target at 10-15 yards. He's shot 3Gun stages with it (and an M60...)

Not exactly.
There were selective-fired pistols based on Mauser C96, and on the Star

Later there were Stechkin APS, Beretta 93R, CZ-75 Automatic and some others. All were less than popular among professional users.

Glock 18

What was scary, when I was in Iraq, to find out the terrorist had Glock 18s. We had several that had been captured from dead terrorist. Did not really like shooting them myself, but was scary to know they had them. They could easily conceal and when going through a crowded village, just come up and empty a mag on the side of your vehicle.
