I could have sworn I came across a website from a range in MD that offered the public the chance to shoot full auto's. Maybe it wasn't in MD, just somewhere close to me. It was one of those times that the boss walks up and you have to close the page before they see it? :(

Does anyone know what I am talking about? I know I'm not going crazy.

There are (or at least were) more than one. I know of two myself. The indoor range (forget the name) in Glen Burnie rents (or used to rent) full auto firearms and allows privately owned full autos (strangely, given that, they limit semi-autos and revolvers to one shot a second). Gilberts Indoor Range in Rockville also rents (or used to) full-auto firearms.

Chaim is referring to Select Fire on Holsum Way in Glen Burnie.

I've shot the HK MP5 that they have - pretty cool I suppose. And reasonably priced if I remember correctly.

Been to Gilberts...a guy with his own MP5 was shooting there but can't remember if they have one to rent or not.

One shop that other THR members recommended to me was Continental Arms .

They have what sounds like a nice range, and a good stock of rental guns, including full-auto's.

If you should happen to visit, I'd appreciate any feedback.

I've been to Continental Arms, I actually picked up my first gun there. Nice range. I remember that you could fire shotguns, but didn't know anything about full auto.
