Full coverage SIG P-232 holster

THR Member hanno sent me this New East German MAK holster today from the PIF thread.

Very tight fit on my SIG P-232, and the mag wouldn't even go in the pouch..

So, hot water to wet it, plastic bags to protect the gun & mag, then hand boned and fitted to the SIG.

Fits like a glove now, and should offer complete protection to the gun when I throw it in the truck.

Wet forming:


Hand molding around the gun.


Boning to fit with handle of knife:


Perfect slip fit now!
Just needs some oil now!

They are handy holsters for guns of that size. I have a couple and used them with my P230's and CZ70.

My P230s (and CZ70) fit without issue. Mags too. Was yours just tight from non use do you think?

Yes, I think so.
Apparently brand new and had never had a gun in it.
