full size 45

looking to sell xdm40 and buy a 45.I already have a kimber 1911. So im looking at possibly the m&p 45 full size. I would like to stay under the 700.00 range. whats your thoughts on the M&P.

Good gun. But not as good as a HK45. You can find sweet, slightly used examples of HK45s for $750. Good luck!

I have M&Ps in 40S&W and 9mm, full-size and compact. All have performed flawlessly. Highly recommend the M&P series.

H&K .45. You can find police trade-ins for $600. Sure they might show a lot of wear but they should continue to shoot well for many years or thousands of rounds.

I sold my Glock 30 and bought a M&P 45 in Dark Earth. I got 4 mags and $50 rebate last summer.

My only complaint is the mags are only 10 rounds. I did find 14 rounders but they appear to be longer than the factory. I like the changeable backstraps. Almost Left Hand ready....just move the mag release over.

It cost me $550 plus tax before the rebate.

I wished it costs the same as the Taurus.

I also wished I had held the Tarus OSS, the FN 45 and the Para Ordanance 45 & Springfield before purchasing. I want all of these as well.
