I CC a full size S&W M&P9. I use a Galco Triton holster and a stiff nylon belt. I wear either loose fitting (not gangsta loose), untucked t-shirts or button up shirts. I find that the clingy material of polo shirts doesn't work well for CC, which is a shame because I look smashing in them. ;) My pants are at least one size bigger to accommodate the mass of gun and holster I stick in there. I plan on exploring shirt tucked in CC once I get a tuckable holster I like.

Although carrying a full size gun is a bit of a challenge I find it is well worth it to carry my favorite gun.

Full size 1911 in an IWB holster. The real trick is to buy the best belt and holster you can. I like Wilderness Products 5-stitch instructor belt. I also prefer leather holsters to kydex, but others often disagree. I've yet, however, find anyone to dispute the Wilderness belt.

I've been CC a G17 in an Aholster IWB for a few months now. Also have these same holsters for other Glocks, 19, 23, &36. The 17 wears good, is comfortable and shoots good. However, in this heatwave we just had, I got used to my Smith 640 again. I try to carry the gun I want and get used to it. As much as I've been buying kydex the last few years, I did get a new Galco for my 1911. It's an OWB and wears good also.

Full sized M&P 45 in a SOB IWB, or 4" 586 in a Safriland paddle under an UN-tucked shirt.

I cheat. I go to the 'mart stores when they have sales and buy the "hawaiian" style shirts. Just as long as the print isn't too loud. I've even got some that are solid color, although print works better to break up any outline. Just avoid light colors. I buy the cheap ones because the checkering on my mainspring housing wears holes through them after a while.
