Full size, thin, light, caliber that starts with a 4, but not a 1911. Does it exist?

That Kahr 45 is quite thin. I handled one at a local toy shop (417guns in Springfield, MO, for you locals) and was impressed with that more than any other aspect of its size. I have never seen a 45 that thin.
Boy that P45 does look kinda cool. I'm put off by that 3.5" barrel though. I don't even like the stubby little Officer's sized 1911s. If Kahr made one with a 4" barrel, that would be cool. The T40 looks a lot like what I'm looking for at only .94" wide and 27 oz.

CZ75 in 40SW.
You know, I've always wanted a '75 in 40S&W. I've carried my 9mm '75 IWB though and it felt real chunky. Still the CZ75 Compact in .40 looks very attractive. I need to see if I can find a local store with a '75 Compact and try it on with my holster, see how it feels.

S&W is making a version of the 1911 with their scandium alloy. Gov't size comes in under 30oz.

The problem with the .40 BHP is that it's still heavy. 33oz unloaded. And it has a double stack grip (albiet a pretty darn thin one).

Yes, I've been looking very closely at that. Man, if they would make that with a bobtailed frame, I'd be all over it like peanut butter and jelly on white bread.

I can't belive nobody has said this yet...

Taurus PT145. It's light and really flat considering it holds 10 rounds of 45acp. Accurate, reliable and tough. It has a manual thumb safety positioned perfectly for a 1911 person too. :)

I'm looking for at least a 4" barrel.
