Summer trap league is done. Tough competition. Next, eight week "combo" league. A round of 16 yard trap and a round of skeet each week. I generally shoot my 48 year old TB and my semi-ancient 1100 for these events but as I looked in the safe I thought, "where did all this stuff come from?". I have found it hard to pass up a pretty piece of wood or a classic gun if the price is reasonable. I'm going to shoot something different each week. BT, 2 TBs, a 3200, a Classic Trap, Model 12, a Wingmaster, and an 1100 Trap. Skeet will see a couple repeats but there is an 1100, a 686, a 20 1100, and a skeet barrel on an 870.
Prediction: scores will be about the same as last year. Trap average will be about 23-24, skeet 22-23. Fun league should be fun.
Going with one ounce loads across the board.
At 78, you sometimes surprise yourself when you open the safe.
