This one has the decocker, you can pull up the manual online and it has everything you would ever want to know about field striping and just about everything else. I PM'd you about where you find night sights or possibly a laser sight and other accesories for these pistols. I guess most companies aren't falling down making stuff for this pistol anymore, thanks, and if you just pull the slide back to line up with that detent, and pop out the slide release pin, the slide should just pull off forward. Just watch when putting it back together you have to manipulate the hammer or decocker depending on the model, and press down on one or two pins that engage the safty when re assembling it. Once you see the diagram it will be simple. I looked at it quicklly when I got the pistol, and just did a saftey check and ran a couple patches down the tube. Maybe 2 clips were fired., checked wear on the feeding rsmp, "none", and there was no wear on top of the barrell either from firing, I use the old pencil trick to make sure the firing pin is functional. Just cock it with the mag in, "empty of course" and the pencil should fly out upon pulling the trigger. Mine fired a pencil accross the room, lol. i got lucky on this one, there could have been things that I easily could have missed, but sometimes you just ahve to go with what you feel and see.
I am sure the reason the guy made the trade was because he thought he could sell a Glock in that condition easier than the S&W. And even though I don't wear Cameo when driving to the supermarket, I am a bit more schooled on the values than the other gent, it's real easy to make a mistake on a quick deal like this, I did by the way check his ID and ran a "stolen gun check" from my cell, I wish him the best of luck, he did what he said he would do, he's trying to make a buck.
