Been wanting the finger grooves gone from G19 for a while. When Robar had their 20% off Christmas sale I decided it was time. I had the finger grooves removed leaving just a "bump" at the bottom of the grip. Had the trigger guard modified for a higher grip which gives me just enough room for a nice full grip. Went ahead and had the entire grip "textured" as well. Nothing was done to the backstrap.

I think they did a really nice job and am quite happy with it.

looks good thanks for sharing i think the only thing that i would want done in adition to that is to have the magwell cut outs. i love that 360 degree texturing that is slick.

I like it Ringer...looks good. I would have had the same treatment done if it were me and may have rounded the trigger guard in addition just for looks.

I would say the same as joesolo; looks good, like the stippling, and would have had the trigger guard contoured to a more rounded shape. What did something like your gun mods cost and how long was the wait?

I did consider having the trigger guard rounded but it was another $45 and I was trying to keep cost down. The work I had done was just under $140 but that was with a $33 Holiday discount and does not include shipping. I only shipped the frame so that kept the shipping cost down. See their website for a complete price list. It took just under 8 weeks but that was through Christmas and New Years. They also said they had more work than usuall due to the "sale".

Anyway they were great to deal with. I wrote out what I wanted and they did exactly that and delivered within a few days of the estimate.

Nice, and I think the stippling is well thought out. I know a guy who has a grip reduction and stippling done on his G21 all the way up to the slide, and it apparently chews his firing hand thumb up when he puts a lot of rounds through the pistol.

I like it as is. I have a robar'ed G30 with a rounded trigger guard and I prefer the stock one just for aesthetics. Mine isn't undercut as much as yours, though.

BTW when you ship the frame to them... do you have to use FedEX overnight or whatever? It counts as the firearm... or don't you have to do that when shipping to an FFL/repair shop?

try this guy

accurate-iron.com

he specializs in glock work and he did an awesome job on my G19, complete grip stipplying, magazine cut out, melted the slide installed Dawson fiber optic adjustable sites, action job. IMO this fella is one of the best and more than reasonable and very fast turn around also.

He is also a leo and one hell of a competitive shooter with glocks.

he totally chan ged the way my G19 looks and it is now my best shooting handgun...
