G27 vs G30 vs other alternatives

tax returns are coming up soon, and i must get an AR 15. but i also want to get a better pistol for CCW than my current HK USP40 and Sigma 9VE. the sigma is actually very easy to conceal, but what i'm looking at are the Glock models 27 and 30. i picked those two for size and caliber, but how much bigger is the G30? my carry will be IWB, though i understand there are ankle holsters for the G27. i'm not a particularly big guy, but dressed in a sweater or sweatshirt i can carry my USP without noticably printing. please advise.

Try the XD compact

It is a robust, durable, reliable and decently accurate little pistol that converts from 10 round mags to 13 round mags as an integral package. The 10 round grip feels SOOOOO good - nicer than the G30. That is one of the reasons I chose it over the Glock (albeit a great gun). The grip is surprisingly slim for a 45 which can hold 13 rounds. It shoots nice too.

you're right, the xd 45 did feel really abnormally slim... Off to the Gunshop!!!

There's a pretty significant difference in size and concealability between the two.
