I'm applying for my FL CCW and I am in the market for a CCW semiauto. I have narrowed it down to the HK P2000sk, Glock 23 & 27. I prefer .40SW, so I am not looking for suggestions on this round vs. that round. I currently only own a Glock 22, but I have had a G30 in the past which was a bit too thick for my tastes, and again, I would like to stick with one caliber throughout my collection.
I understand from doing searches that some say "carry the most gun you can" and make sure it "fits your hands" etc. The 23 is the most comfortable because of its size and the G27 is the least, again, because of its size, with the P2000sk being the middle ground I have found. I am concerned that the 23 will be the least easy to conceal.
I guess my questions are two fold:
1) Opinions as to my 3 choices, knowing that all are great firearms, but this is specifically for CCW only as the G22 is my HD firearm.
2) If your choice is the HK or the G27, what is your choice for carry ammo for a less than 4" barrel (my HD ammo is Ranger 165g R40TA)
Thanks for all the help!
