g3 build?

ok i'm thinkin' bout buildin' a g3 an was just wonderin' what all would be required? i have found a receiver and trigger group along with the ever plentiful stock sets. i know i'm forgettin somethin though. any an all help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Well...you might want a bolt group and a barrel to go with the other parts. Make sure that the trigger group is NOT a FA variant as there are multitudes out there that are, and the BATF is not too friendly about those sort of kits being built into unregistered rifles. I would look into a PTR-91 or even a CETME because I highly doubt that you can build one and come out ahead.

but i couldnt think of what it was. guess i had a blonde moment.
an it's not really bout comin out ahead so much as makin a a few samll purchases instead of one big one. mostly to keep SWMBO happy. ya know?

No problem, AM. I follow exactly, however I would save up for a CETME, or look for good deals on a PTR-91 (much better IMO). I think you will encounter fewer problems going this route. If you ultimately decide to build it yourself just make sure that the lower is NOT fully auto and that you properly headspace the bolt prior to test firing.
