Hi,

I'm not sure if this is the right board. I recently bought a HK-91 allegedly built with all genuine HK parts on a new Century receiver. It did not come with a sling of any kind. There is an attachment loop by the front sight, but no attachment point of any kind on the buttstock. All the pictures of this rifle I can find on the internet have either a recessed post in the middle of the left side of the buttstock, or a swivel ring on the bottom. What gives?

Is there any type of sling available that will work with this without modifying the buttstock?

Thanks,

Andy

P.S. Hi to Ian. This is "Andy" on ASC.

Not even a hole like for the CETME?

Blackhawk sells a sling that wraps around the buttstock. I'm pretty sure there are other manufacturers that sell the same thing but can't recall of any others off hand. Not sure how it attaches to the front, however.

Thanks.

According to the guys on hkweaponsystems.com forum, it's an American-made buttstock, for parts count purposes, with no attachment point to keep the costs down most likely.

So, any suggestions for sling attachment? The buttstock is hollow, made from a gray plastic.
