    I don't think I'll name them (lets see who can't) other than say these were probably the best of the smaller autos of the 20s,30s and 40s. :)

    "Gat" as slang is out. The new word is "ratchet".

    A semiauto rifle is a "chopper".

    Ratchet is only slang for revolvers IIRC. Those are neat old guns. Love the old FNs and Mausers and that Remington is very cool.

    Nice collection. All are .32 acp except the bottom Colt??

    No top two are .380s. My favorite of the bunch is probably the Rem 51. It has a locked breech and very mellow recoil like a .32. Also the 51 is very thin, like the .25 acp and it has a very positive safety system.
