Gas block question for 300 black out:

I am building a 300 black out AR 15. Question surrounds the gas block. The barrel requires a .875 gas block, and I would like an adjustable one if possible. Most of the ones I have seen in .875 make some reference in their part numbers to "308".....Is this for a 308 caliber gun's barrel or does this make a difference? Also, any recommendations for an adjustable gas block for my 300 black out in .875 would be greatly appreciated. I do intend to suppress this gun and I am told the adjustability would be helpful....
