I know that Glock now has the Generation Four models on the market. Does the Generation Four model exist for the Glock 26? I know that the Generation Four exist for the full size 9mm (Glock 17) and 40 S&W (Glock 22), but does it exist for the subcompacts (Glock 26) as well? Also, people have said that all of the Generation Four Models have the crescent slide serrations but I do not believe this is true, is it? I have seen some Generation Four Models that don't have them. Are the crescent slide serrations optional?

Currently, there are no Gen4 subcompacts.

Currently, the only Gen4 Glocks available are the Glock 17Gen4 and Glock 22Gen4.

It's rummored that the Glock 19Gen4, 23Gen4 and 37Gen4 were be available late Q3 2010.

It's unknown if and when Glock will release a Gen4 subcompact.

The Gen4 Glocks have the straight slide serrations.
The "shark/fish gill" crescent slide serrations were featured on the Glock 17RTF2, 19RTF2, 22RTF2 and 23RTF2. However, it appears that Glock has discontinued that feature and the newer production RTF2 Glocks have the straight slide serrations.
