I guess when I hear "gentleman's folder" I think of something relatively small, that won't make an unsightly bulge in a set of dress pants but at the same time, it should be... upscale? fancy? What is your idea of the perfect gentlemen's folder.
I had that same knife and the lock back mechanism broke. Sent it back to Case and they replaced it.I was going to suggest the Case Executive http://www.scruggsfarm.com/case-metal-executive-lockback-knife-004.html
I had one of these knives years ago. A guy from another trade borrowed it one day & brought it back to me folded up. I put it in my pocket without looking. The next day I unfolded it to find he had broke the tip of the blade off. I worked it down to a point but a while after that with more sharpening it started catching on the inside of my pocket so I quit carrying it. I went to buy another one but at the time the man told me they had been discontinued. I really liked that knife though.
My mother in law works for AG Russell
No. Don't get a T. A. Davison. More competition for meThese don't match up with the OP's requests... but I just have to second TA Davison for gentleman's folders.
