GG&G or Troy rear BUIS

I own both. They are both great sights. Here's the deal... if you shoot more with iron sights and own a 16" barrel M4 and shoot mostly 62 grain or 55 grain M193 or M855 ball... go with the GG&G. The bullet drop compensation works almost perfectly. Unfortunately, it lacks a ghost ring setting (I drilled out my own on the lowest setting).

If you mostly leave your sights down and shoot with optics, go with the troy. Its got a built in ghost ring and the windage adjustment knob is very difficult to knock off center... my only other concern with the GG&G.

I'm not familiar with GG&G, though I hear good things. I will tell you that Troy sets the standard by which all others measure up to. There is a reason that nearly every competitor, who isn't given something different by a sponsor, uses Troy. There's a reason why many troops who replace their weapon sights use Troy. They are built like a tank and won't let you down.

Which do you consider the best between the GG&G and Troy Rear BUIS for a Colt 6920?
You can't go wrong with either choice, just buy the one that you like best. Personally I like LaRue Tactical the best but you can't go wrong with Troy or GG&G either.

Just stay away from A.R.M.S whatever you do:barf:
