ghost ring problems...

I have a remington 1100 tactical tac 4. I want to get a set of ghost ring sights for the weapon, but I'm having trouble finding a set that will fit the vent-rib barrel. The vent rib is cut short of the muzzle about an inch. Is this to mount a front sight?

No, it is for putting something between a roughly handled gun's muzzle and the bead which is exactly what you should be using. Wanna go crazy? Add a mid bead and move on is my suggestion...

I already have a mid-bead, and fiber optic front. does anyone have any experience with the banded front sight from XS?
