Girsan MC14T?

I bought one a month or so ago and took it to the range once. It was accurate, reliable, and pleasant to shoot. Plus my Beretta 84 magazines worked fine in it. Certainly not everyone’s cup of tea but I’m ver happy with my purchase. Basically a Beretta 86 at half the price and five more rounds !

Girsans look nice cosmetically. I bought 3 different models over the last couple years and ended up selling them all. 1/2 was because I was not satisfied with their accuracy/build quality after I shot them a bit. The other 1/2 was because I encountered terrible customer service from Girsan trying to fix these problems. Just terrible customer service. I would chuck rocks at bad guys before I would buy another one of their guns. Your mileage may vary.

i was wondering whether the Girsan would accept Beretta mags. My old ones did.

The Beretta 86 .380 pop-up is in the advanced Beretta collector realm now…and their prices show that. So, the Girsan is a good option, along with some improvements.
I’m a big fan of my Beretta 84F. I have no problem racking the slide now…but in a few years? The Girsan might be a viable alternative.

Pretty tough to do when you can just pop open the barrel with a push of a button.
Assuming you're familiar with the system. Ive seen folks leave rounds in the chamber of Tomcats and Bobcats between magazines because they are counting the shots and those guns dont lock open on the last round either. Im not sure if the M86 does- never actually seen one in the flesh.
Can't do a tap, rack, and fire either if one is trained to do so when a misfire occurs.
Just saying, the manual of arms for these is sufficiently different from 99% of the autos out there to require specialized training and muscle memory.

And don't accidentally tip up the barrel and then rack the slide (in the middle of a gun fight). That's how you disassemble the gun.

I heard a. 32 ACP is in the pipeline?! Source anyone??

Their manual. But they're only importing the .380 so far.

Okay, sent that out thirty seconds before leaving work. Now I'll elaborate. I downloaded the owner/operating manual. Inside it discussed the .380 and a .32 acp that is the 13T, if I remember correctly. I don't believe that they are going to be imported.

Man, that's a shame. I'd be all over this pistol in 32 acp.

Probably two; one for me, one for Mrs (Ida) Thunkit.

Anybody else get a chance to handle/shoot this?

I just stumbled on it a little bit ago and am intrigued as an option for my wife, who has strength issues in racking a semiauto.

(Though she absolutely will NOT give up her PPK/S!)

I can get this in either 3.8" or 4.5" barrel lengths at The Gun Shop at home for under $500. The overall length for the 4.5" barrel version is only 0.7" longer than her PPK/S, but the weight and trigger pull is less, which would also make it attractive to her. The 3.8" barrel version would be a smidgen less in terms of weight/size.
