I would like to wall mount a pistol in a display case, and am looking for some advice. For fun, it will look approximately like this, with ghost lettering on the bottom glass quite large that says "IN CASE OF ZOMBIES BREAK GLASS" with "UMBRELLA CORPORATION" in the top right corner small.
Its a lockable case, and I plan to screw the entire case into studs into the wall w/ a reinforcement plate inside, but:
1) I still need to be able to easily remove the firearm when taking it to the range or locking it in my proper safe when I'm away for a while.
2) The foam is not particular thick, and I'm not sure the proper way to secure it so everything stays in place (is it typically cut for example?).
Note that the DEagle is unfortunately quite heavy. Ideas?
