If you are middle aged or older, be aware that laser eye correction will fix the distance vision fine, but you may have the same difficulty focusing at close distance. This is assuming you have the normal presbyopia of middle age and use bifocals or reading glasses.

We went to the range the other night for the first time in a long time. I found that I can see the sites much better with my glasses off and both eyes open. Good idea to practice with and without.
