Do the Glock 17 and Glock 37 pistols use the same lower frames? I have a Glock 37 that I would like to buy and install a 9mm Mech Tech Carbine upper on. If the Glock 37 uses the same frame as the Glock 17, I should be able to do this and simply use Glock 17 magazines. I have heard that the Glock 17 and Glock 37 have exactly the same lower frames. Is this correct? Thanks.

From another forum:

If the G17/17L/22/24/31/34/35 frame is Generation 3, yes you can. But you need to change the trigger housing in the frame to a .45GAP trigger housing.

The trigger bars are slightly different, you might need to use the .45GAP trigger bar for the G37 upper.

Semi-compatible, but not a simple swap the slide conversion...

The Glock 37 is a .45GAP. This is what I have currently. The Glock 17 is a 9mm. I want to use my Glock 37 lower and get a Mech Tech 9mm carbine upper (designed to be compatible with a Glock 17 lower frame). So from my understanding, I could do this, but I would need to also change my Glock 37 trigger bar to a Glock 17 trigger bar? Thanks.

I don't know exactly how the mechtech works, but it would seem you might need to change the .45gap ejector to a 9mm ejector.
