Glock 17- 9mm Gen 3. Had it for many years.
When in condition 1 with round in chamber and loaded magazine inserted, when the slide is then pulled rearward to cycle the action manually, the rim of the round coming out of the chamber will catch on the case mouth of the next round underneath and will not allow manual cycling, unless you drop the mag.
No other Glocks of mine do this, nor did this firearm do this until recently.
Id assume extractor is worn or the spring is worn, allowing the manually ejected round to dip lower, making contact and catching on the round beneath.
No issues in the course of firing. But if a FTF occurred it would be a process to remove chambered round by dropping the magazine.
Any input appreciated. Contacted Glock and they said theyve never heard of that happening.....id assume the guy who told me that was a newbie.
