I see a recent catalog had FACTORY Glock 18, 33 round mags for sale for $14.99, while FACTORY Glock 17, 33 round mags were listed at $39.99.

What's the difference between the two designations? Wouldn't they be the same?

So the truth comes out I guess. I just went to their website to check availability and the mags are listed as Korean made. I've heard very mixed reviews on them.

They are the same.

The $14.99 had to be a misprint.

I think I just beat you to the post RC.

I'm a little torn at the moment. I've got some Christmas money to spend ($70) and I'm trying to decide between a rail mount for my Beretta 92 (for a light I don't yet have) or I could load up on 9mm mags for my Glock 22 for when I convert it to 9mm for practice (for which I don't have a 9mm barrel yet). :)

As my wife and I like to say lately: "First world problems" :scrutiny:

I don't know about you.

But me "practicing" with a 33-round mage just wouldn't work.

I get tired and loose concentration before I run out of ammo in my 13-round Glock 23.

Do not sell South Koreans short. I would buy few of those mags if I owned a Glock. The K1 I owned was about the best assault style rifle ever made. They also make very fine noodles.

Actually I haven't given up on the thought of buying them. IF I end up buying some, I'd try them out and make sure they function and if not I've already found glockstore.com has springs for sale for the 33 rounders.

From what I've heard the korean mags aren't THAT bad. I bought a few of the Glock 19 mags on a deal (like $4 each) once just in case another mag ban passes i'd have them to sell .

I actually don't even own a Glock 19, but I do have a Glock 17 with 3 factory mags, an I'm looking at ordering a couple of the korean ones for it real soon to test. I tend to have decent luck with mags though. I even have one ProMag for my P95 that works perfectly (after a new spring and factory follower, but that was only about $3 worth of stuff).

I had some either KCI or Khan, I think KCI, 19 and 17 magazines a few years back, they worked very well, they just 'felt' cheaper than factory mags. A little sharper at the top, but that's something for your thumb to worry about, doesn't affect function at all.
