Nothing new to report... just that after an evening shooting my G19 (which mostly sits in the safe, as I usually carry my G23) I have come away so impressed with this little pistol that I had to crow a little about it. What a superb gun.

Standard mag gives me 16 rounds in a super easy-to-carry, compact, lightweight, stone reliable, and steadfastly durable defense gun. Accuracy? Awesome! Potency? Speer 124 gr. +P Gold Dots will do their part quite well indeed if I put them where they need to go. And with the G19, that's so easy to do!

I loaded up 17-rounds of 124 gr. +P Gold Dots in a G17 mag, popped it in my G19 and in VERY short order dropped all 17 rounds within an inch or so at a range of about 20 feet. For a target gun, that's not a big deal, by any means, but to do so in fairly rapid fire, free hand, from a defense gun like the G19 speaks a lot to me. (And I've got a whole bunch of super accurate 1911's I could be shooting too.) This gun is so soft shooting, comfortable, reliable, accurate, and easy to pack - it really does push on the borders of "perfection".

So, nothing more to say except that I honestly believe that the G19 may actually be Glock "perfection"! :D The GLock 19 is SUPERB!

I must add that I installed a 3.5# connector (giving the gun a 4.75# trigger pull) and a smooth-faced G17 trigger (giving a smoother feel on the trigger finger). Other than that, a little polishing here and there and the gun shoots like a dream!

Yes but are you still carrying the G23 everyday.I am hankering for a G19 had two sold them just couldnt justify it because my G23 is my everyday carry but still the G19 is calling to me if for no more than to say I have one.

Absolutely love my Glock 19C. I had the 3.5 Lb, quick-reset trigger installed. Wow!

I had, and carried, a G19 since the early 90's. About a year ago I picked up, and shot, a CZ P-01. The Glock is long gone, and I am on my third P-01. Try the P-01, and you won't look back. :)

While I'm not a Glock fan (like 1 old 0311, I'd take my P-01 over my 19), I have a Glock 19 since it (or other Glock models) is kind of an industry standard in a couple industries I may be going into after I ETS. I like the 19, but definitely feel you have to either shoot a Glock a lot, or accept mediocre accuracy with one if you shoot other pistosl more, due to the trigger and the grip angle (primarily the trigger, for me).

I love my G19. I have fired other styles of pistols, but I think that I will always have my G19.

I bought one a couple months ago and just shot it the first time yesterday. It is now my favorite piece. It was so accurate. By the way, I couldnt beleive how much bang the speer 124 +p has. Loaded every other with target ammo, and it felt like the difference between a .38 and a .357. I think the speer +p round is definetly a powerful round. I cant imagine how the +p+ 124's would be.

The grip is just a tad too short for me or the finger grooves aren't spaced out enough. Either way, for me it's slightly more uncomfortable to hold and shoot than the full-sized models. But you can't argue with the size and capacity of the 19!

Yeah, for the size and weight, to have 16 rounds on tap before a reload is pretty amazing. As for the feel... it took a long time handling and shooting the Glocks before I came to the point of liking how they feel in the hand. I do handle them every day, pack every day, shoot at least once a week... so now I've come to really like the feel of the 19 & 23 (same feel). And with the 3.5# connector, the trigger is really nice. 19 or 23. 23 or 19. Tough choice! That's why I have both.

You say it's perfect and superb but you changed the disconnector, trigger, and polished the action. After all this work was done on a perfect pistol it was placed in the safe to sit out the rest of it's days. Why all the work to stash away a perfect pistol?
