Hey, I have a G20 right now and would like to get a G21 slide for it. Does anybody know what the best way to do this would be?

Going the Lone Wolf route it'd cost about $520 for just the slide, I could buy a whole G21 for that and I would prefer a standard Glock slide.

I'm also thinking about buying a G21SF, keeping my G20 slide and selling the G20 frame. Is that possible? Would anybody buy it?

Any tips for me?

Thanks!

According to Lone Wolf distributors , the large frames are interchangeable between the G21 and the G20.

I thought about buying the Lone Wolf G20 slide and Barrel and put on my G21 frame, but as you said, one could buy a complete Glock for the price.

Yes, I am sure someone would buy your glock frame, if you priced it right.

Let us know how it goes.

I want to say that the barrels have a common OD. If that's true, then you only need a conversion barrel. I haven't seen one to go from 10 to 45, but I'll bet the good folks at KKM can tell you off the top of their head!

You can't move from a 10mm to a .45 without changing the slide.

You can, however, go from a .45 to a 10mm with just the conversion barrel, IIRC.

If you want both options, it may be cheaper to sell the G20, then buy a 21 and conversion barrel.

I'm not sure where you are coming up with your price of $520? It is $200 for the bare slide, $100 for the internals, and about $100 for the barrel.

If your G-20 is a second generation (no finger grooves, or accessory rail) pm me and we can see about working something out. I may be interested in just the frame.

Ahhh....didn't realize you were pricing it with night sights. I also have a handful of spare OEM parts (guide rods, slide cover plates etc).
