glock 23 chamber

i pickup a new g23 gen3 with the new gray slide/barrel finnish (made in 2011) and it's just me or the chamber looks a lot more supported than older models? i dont own any other .40 glock but from the picture i have seen my does look better supported.

Yeah, Glock made this and other changes not too long ago...It's not your imagination. There is a pic up here somewhere comparing the old with the new.

good to know that newer glocks 23 have better chamber than olders

The change was made nearly a decade ago, and it's not necessarily "better."

I have a 2011 g23 Gen 3 as well. Didn't notice the chamber but did notice the slide being more grey like the Gen 4. I like it

My gen3 G27 has better support than the Gen3 glock barrel in the picture, unless it's just my imagination.
