Anyone have an idea how many fps you lose with a fully compensated 40acp Glock? Seems like I was told you lose about 100fps but I honestly do not know? Also got a 9mm non-compensated barrel with the Glock; has anyone had any problems with either set up on the 23? Gun shoots and feels very stable and has much less recoil than I remember on a glock 40 so I guess the compensator works or I might be dreaming.

It will be more like 30fps. Even then the powder and projectile weight will make a difference too.

It is not enough to worry about.

Good to hear you like it!!

I had a Glock 23c, still have a 23.
Chronographed it (23c) before selling.
Average for 5 shots:
Glock 23c Winchester Ranger T 165 gr. @ 1,069 fps
Glock 23 Winchester Ranger T 165 gr. @ 1,125 fps

Hummmmm the barrel has two slots approx 1.5? from the mussel. When shot in low light you get two devil horns of fire out the top....

Replaced the barrel with the 9mm non-compensated and shot a box of federal 9mm yesterday. Could have been just me or maybe the cosmic alignment but the 40acp is more accurate.
