About a month ago I ordered one of the 12 round factory magazines (with the pinky rest) for my Glock 26.

The magazine has worked flawlessly so far, but it does tend to rattle a bit, which is something I've never experienced with either the 10 round G26 mags that came with my gun or any of the factory mags I have for my G22.

Is a bit of rattling normal with the G26 12 round factory mags?

Thanks.

Mine rattled but functioned fine. I dislike rattle. Downloading by one usually takes care of it, but sort of defeats the purpose of the +2 base, don't you think?

A perfectly functioning gun that I don't miss in the least.

double stack magazines loaded to full capacity rattle because the last round doesn't have pressure on it while the others do... it is the round in the bottom of the magazine. When you remove one round it just causes all rounds to have equal pressure on them.

I don't recall any rattling in any Glock magazine I ever had, but if it is functioning properly there is nothing of concern. This is quite common with double-column magazines that taper to a single column at the top.

Hmm... I'm shaking mine right now and there isn't a sound. I checked a second one, no sound. My 15 round mag with a 2rd extension rattles
