Well took my newest glock out shooting today and was thrilled with the results.

Of course it being a glock it ate everything I put in it, but on top of that proved itself to be as accurate if not more than the full size and compact models in 9mm today.

I shot 180g tulammo steel case, 165g wwb, 155g federal hydra-shok hp, and 135g winchester ranger hp.

It shot all of the ammo very similar, the hydra-shok shot a little high but still held tight groups.

At 20 yards, I shot consistent 2" 5 shot groups.

I thought the little 40 handled very well and didn't have as much bite as I had read about, I had shot it a little before today and came to that conclusion early but todays outing confirmed that thought.

I could tell very little difference in recoil between all of the ammo fired exept the federal was a tad louder and muzzle rise was a tad stouter.

I shot it back to back with the 26 and my personal opinion (take it with a grain of salt) was that there was a very small difference in recoil between the two.

Anybody looking for a small ccw I would highly recommend the glock 27 as it has found a permanant place on my side.

Thanks for reading guys if you would happen to want to know anything I did not cover let me know and I would be glad to respond.

have one, love it, perfect for concealed, throw in the 15 rd mag and it's perfect on the nightstand. got the crimson trace laserguard for it, really like that extra capability.

Congrats,I traded my 26 for one and have no regrets.
I did pick up a 9-40 conversion for it for cheap plinking.

Love that pistol.

In my opinion the best that Glock makes, and the best of the subcompact service pistols.

I have two Glock carry guns. A 26 and 27.

The 26 I got at a shop, used, with Bowie Tactical Concepts grip reduction & Hinnie night sights for $400 flat. I added a 3.5 connector and NY-1 trigger myself. Using a sight tool I got it dead on at 25 yards with Winchester +P+ 127gr JHPs, and yes I can quite reliably do head shots standing on a IPSC target at 25 yards.

The 27 I also got a pawn shop for $450. It had Glock night sights. I also added a NY-1 and 3.5 connector to the setup. With a rubber mallet I got it also sighted in at 25 yards with Winchester T series 155 gr JHPs. Again another 25 yard head shot capable gun!

I like 'em both. I use the 27 now and keep the 26 as my backup incase the 27 is taken for evidence, or is lost, or I am low on .40 ammo (and folks it never hurts to have a second PROVEN carry gun that fits all your holsters!)

Yeah this was another big plus for this gun, it will fit all of my holsters even the kydex ones.

Im wearing it right now in a hybrid holster that I made around my g19.
