glock 2nd gen

hmm i like these alot and i see alot of 2nd gens used as race guns so whats soo great about them? anyone have pictures? my lgs has 17's 19's and 23's they are 2nd gen with nightys all 369.00 they were cop guns insides are pretty good and i dont care about the finish because if you guys do help persuade me into one ill have to buy one of those awesome caspian slides. thanks

2nd generations...

I like the 1st and 2nd generation Glocks because they do not have those finger grooves on front of the grip. Here is a couple of pics of a 2nd generation G17 I bought about a month ago for $365 cash OTD.

It's a factory refurbished gun and looks new inside and out. It came with the box, paperwork, cleaning rod, 3 new hi-cap magazines, and the magazine loading thing, and lifetime warranty. It also came with some very bright night sights.

I can't think of anything not to like about it!

well im sure thinking hard about it.... i think im going to look around for a refurb one because look at his 365 w/ fresh night sites the one i was looking at had alot of the finish gone, sights dont even glow, and if i were to get it would it be recommended to get the ejection port to 15 deg?

I eventually want to get a 2nd generation G19. I have a 3rd generation as of current. I like the finger grooves on the G19, but dislike them on the G26.
