I picked up a Glock "32" a few days back and noticed that the serial numbers didn't match. The guy I got it from explained that the slide was a Glock replacement (S#### serial) , which I did some research on and saw was true.
The slide is a Glock 32, and the barrel is a 357 sig barrel, but its the frame that I am concerned with. From what I have read, its a Glock 19 frame 3rd gen. From what I understand, the 19, 23 and 32 are all the same frame. Is this info correct? Is it safe to shoot?
The frame has the finger grooves, but is a 2 pin. I will snap some pics tomorrow. Frame is serial DEL###US, Slide is S####.
Frame-DEL - G-19 - Unknown - 3rd Gen. - Trilux H3 night sights. "US" suffix, cop trade in.
Why does my frame/slide/barrel have a G#### / S#### / L#### serial number?
Slide-Replacement frames slides and barrels have special serial numbers. The serial number consists of a single letter followed by 4 digits:
S#### for replacement slides.
Barrel-EAE - G-32 - December 2000 - 3rd Gen.
