Just picked up a nice used G30 a few weeks ago.
Nightsights, upgraded striker, recoils springs, grips, etc.
First Glock.
Still learing about this new addition to the stable.
Ran a bunch of rounds through it, shoots great.
I'm more accurate with it than my Browning, or any other handgun I own.

So.... will it handle +p's?

No problem at all with +P ammo. I might suggest a detail strip, clean and inspect, every 500 rounds or so; but that's just me.

Gee that's a really short answer... but it was an easy question.

It will gobble em up with ease.

I used Speer 200 grain Gold Dot +Ps when I had one for a carry gun.

upgraded striker

I hope its not titanium. I've seen some of them break (brittle?) in competitions. Granted its mostly on 1911 pistols, but I can never put my trust on those after seeing them break on more than one occasion. The factory striker is the best, IMO.
For me night sights and slip-on rubber grip is all the upgrade needed on Glocks. :)

To the best of my knowledge, there's never been an "upgraded" striker for G30's. Titanium definitely wouldn't be an upgrade.

Thanks for the replies.

Yep, it's a titanium striker, along with the titanium plunger.
Not being intimately familiar with Glocks (yet), I thought I had a bonus with the purchase. Did some searching and reading after reading the prior responses, and it appears it may well be an unecessary and possibly troublesome "upgrade".

Going to order a stock striker in the morning.

pberzk: If you're not going to depend on that G30 for self-defnese then there's certainly no problem with your leaving the titanium striker installed. If you're going to use the G30 for self-defense, just mention in your will that your Glock has a titanium striker with a lifetime warranty!

LOL @ Nero!

Stopped by the shop and the smith ordered one for me.
He also agreed that it's good (the titanium), but not nearly as dependable as the stock piece.

thanks for the enlightenment

Pete
