I'm looking for a replacement trigger for my 30S. The action on it is fine, however I don't care for the serrated trigger as it irritates my finger after shooting it for a while. Is anyone aware of a replacement trigger that has a smoother face? I've done internet searches and found them for other models, but I don't see anything for the 30S.

Check with Glockworks, Glockmiester, or any of the Glock parts houses. Most triggers are interchangeable. The ones for the 17 or 22 probably work.

The serrated trigger isn't what is making your finger sore.

It is the trigger blade safety in the middle of it, and the fearsome trigger slap of the stock trigger.

I don't know what to do about it, but a smooth face trigger won't fix it as long as the blade safety is still slapping your finger every shot.

I finally took to wearing a band-aid on my finger if a lot of Glock shooting was in the cards that day.

I've been wearing a band aid also, but was hoping for a more permanent fix as it's a gun I love and plan on keeping long term. What you're saying about the blade safety makes sense. My Springfields also have blade safeties, and I've never had an issue with them. I was hoping someone made a trigger for the 30S that was as comfortable as the Springfield's.

I reshaped the sharp point on the safety blade to a more rounded end on mine and it helped a lot.

Time to leather up your fingers. When you wrench on cars, the callous makes all this moot.

It's my understanding the Glock 21/20 trigger bar would get you what you want.

I tried filing down the trigger. It helped, but not enough.

I just ordered the 21/20 trigger bar. Thanks for the information. For $19, it's worth trying.

I received the trigger from Glockparts.com. The gun smith at my LGS put it in (he charged me $5, and it took him a couple of minutes). It's not quite as comfortable as my SA's, Sigs or 1911's, but it's much better than the original trigger. I ordered additional triggers for my 27 and 19. It's well worth the few dollars.
