i find the 19 to be a little to big for my hands but doable and im fine with it, will i be let down by glock30SF?????

thanks

Its a little bit better than the standard G30, but not as good as the G19

man i was affraid of that......i dont think i can handle grip much bigger then the 19

You should go check one out and actually get the feel of it before you completely get shut away from the idea of getting one. I too like the grip of the 9mm and .40 glocks but the G30sf grip really isn't that bad at all. There is a difference in the feel of the grip but to me it wasn't that noticeable.

Might be picking one up at the gun show in mid July.

A Glock 19 feels great to me. I've held a 30SF, because I thought I wanted one, but the trigger reach is just a tad too long.:(

My Glock 30SF is amazing. Extremely accurate and lots of power. Recoil feels like a 9mm and it fits my hand perfectly.

I agree about the recoil. not bad at all( I am partial to .45 and .380 for some reason). I don't have big hands and the reach isn't a bother to me.

Try to hold a XD45Compact. Same caliber, same capacity, slimmer grip, lighter but longer trigger, grip safety, steel sights, ambi mag release, steel two piece guide rod.

The grip is different than the G30, more like most other non-Glock pistols.

I like Glock pistols, they work and they're light. I have owned Glocks for many years, and have been a Glock armorer for years. I work for a LE suppier that has had the Glock LE program for 20+years and I have shot, held, sold, fixed, modified and returned to Glock many pistols. They, just like every other mfg, have problems once in a while. Especially when you see such numbers of guns. Glock Perfection is a slogan, nothing more. It's is interesting the following Glock gets on their guns. That is what happens when you build a quality product at a fair price and market it to the right people in the right way.

The XD pistol line is hot right now, and for good reason. Same with the M&P. They are both viable alternatives to the Glock pistol for HD/SD/DUTY work. HK and Sig produce very good weapons for this role, but come at a higher price.

My point is that you have options, getting the right gun the first time takes time. Go out and see, touch, and feel every gun you can that fits the role you need. Caliber is secondary to shot placement, so find a gun that fits you well and you can shoot well.

Just my $.02

The Glock 30-SF is a fine weapon but to me it feels like a coffee can in my hands. The Glock 19 is just about right. I am interested in checking out the Gen 4 G19 when it comes out.

i cant find a glock30 sf locally to handle

but i did find a 30 and it wasnt to bad.
One reason i tend to want a glock is bc mags are half the price of others..literally
Is the Gen 4 g19 going to be thinner?

i said thinner but ment shorter. This is great news to me! when will they be out?...ill go google
