i know you can convert this to .40 s&w by changing barrels. can you change it to 9mm as well? (based on the fact that the 9mm mags are the same deminstions) or does the extracter prevent this conversion.

All Glock owners should know Lone Wolf Distributing, a/k/a LWD:

Some conversions require just a barrel, others a barrel and magazine, still others extractor/ejector changes...

Call these guys and ask what's needed for a reliable conversion to 9 mm, for a G31.

The footprint of the 40 and 357 sig cartridges have a different "footprint" on the breech face. You will likely need to change the slide, ejector, and the magazines (same dimensions, different feed lips) as well as the barrel.

Your Pop has or had a G-19. Can you measure off of that?

All you need to go from 357 to 9mm is the barrel and 9mm mags. I have a G22 and I shoot all three calibers in mine. I have a barsto barrel in 9mm and it is my most accurate glock. The extractor and the ejector will work fine. After 9 thousand 9mm reloads through it with no jams I would say no other parts are required.
