Seeking recommendations for combat adjustable sights for Gen. 5 Glocks that do not increase the height of Glock's fixed sights.

Dunno if they are combat sites, but I have some fiber optic LPA sites on my G35 and I love them. If I'm being honest, I prefer adjustable sites but I never adjust them. I guess it's more that I like the idea of them.

LPA makes a model that they claim will work with the stock height front sight. Like Jimfern, I'm not sure I would call them combat sights.
LPA also makes a different model that looks a bit more "streamlined" and might qualify as a combat sight. They call it a "carry sight". They don't explicitly claim that model will work with the stock front sight--in fact it is sold as a set with what looks like a higher front sight.
If you look at the Dawson Precision adjustable set, it appears to come with a significantly taller front sight than the original.
