ive seen the clipdraw on lone wolf distributing it looks like a knife clip which i think is cool
question for anyone that knows:
where does the thing attach on the glock? does it require and mod to glock?

Do not carry the pistol in the ready to fire condition. This is not the recommended safe-carrying method for civilian use. To minimize risk of unintentional discharge, load live ammunition into the pistol only when you are ready to shoot.
Words to live by if you use this device. While I debate the whole "recommended carry method for civilian use" if you're using a holster, putting a loaded Glock in your pants without something protecting the trigger guard is a recipe for a trip to the ER.

I bought one for my g26 3 weeks ago, you just have to change the back part of the slide. What I noticed was that after shooting 100 rounds it came loose. I have to go to the range again to see if this happens again. I'll post back.

thanks airman and please do micky
i was thinking about this contraption and i think carry would be ok for walking around (may want to be careful if sitting down with it on)

does anybody have experience with that saf-t-bloc
like does it stay in and how much pressure does it take to push out

I'm hard pressed to see the use for one - as both the manufacturer and self-preservation say, carrying your Glock chambered with this thing is a baaaaaaad idea...

Though, if you don't carry chambered anyway...well, then it might be a decent alternative to a holster.

i think an unchambered gun is worthless and about the holster i just never really looked into them i carry a s&w 296 (snub 44spec) it fits perfect in back pocket with just enough handle up to slip pinky under and draw
just seems like holster would double size of gun plus that clip thing is cool if someone sees it they might think its just a knife

retention

...absolutely agree with the other High Roaders' concerns about chambered carry with this clip.

The other issue is retention. That little clip only provides one, narrow point of support. I doubt it would take much for it to slip or become dislodged. Even un-holstered pocket carry (yuck) seems safer.

A gun is not complete without a good holster. The knife clip was a simple and appropriate innovation... for folding pocket knives. Using a clip on a pistol is like using velco instead of your seatbelt in your car. Convenient, but hardly functional.

I went shooting today again to see if the clipdraw would come loose again.I just got home and it was tight as it should be. I also bought the saft block for when I use the clipdraw.

I've used one on my carry gun for a year now. I love it. Its conceals great, and is very comfortable. Its never come loose or fallen out of my pants either. But I wouldn't carry a glock with it, my gun has a manual safety.
