I have been loking at the AA Glock conversion kit for my Glock 20. It seems like a great addition to the stable, keeps me firing my favorite pistol and working out with it for whole heck of a lot less $$$$.

Can anyone give me their feedback here on THR?

Do these require a FFL transfer or NICS check, because if so I need to go get my paperwork started in NJ.

I can't say about any specific NJ laws but according to Federal law the frame is the "gun" so no need for NICS.

I have an AA conversion for my G19. So far it has performed very well with everything I have tried. This included CCI Mini Mags in HP and Round Nose, Winchester Super X and Remington Golden Bullets (HP). The kit is in my range bag right now. Not a single malfunction of any type with the first few hundreds rounds.

Highly recommend!

No, these do not require any FFL as it is just the complete slide assembly. As posted above, it is the lower polymer frame that is technically considered the "firearm" so you're safe to order this kit even online and have it shipped directly to your residence (even here in NJ). As luck would have it though, these are in really high demand and all the common retailers are out and have established a backorder log a mile long. I spoke with some typical glock retailers online and they were telling me 3-4 months approx for the wait if you got in line then. AA needs to get into overdrive with these!
