Getting a Glock 35, but having trouble deciding on the Gen 3 or Gen 4. Keeping in mind that I'm going to also use a LoneWolf 9mm barrel in the Glock 35, which gen should I get?
The SEALs just adopted the Gen 3 over the Gen 4.
That should tell you everything you need to know right there.
It's amazing what a 3.5 connector and NY-1 trigger spring can do for making "Perfection" pretty darned sweet.I have several Glocks and have bought and sold more. For my money the Gen 3 and earlier guns feel more solid and have better triggers; the Gen 4 triggers have a mushiness (to me anyway) which is subtle but unmistakeable.
Even I have a Gen 3 G23 and I''m scratching my head as to why this matters? One thing I do know--the Gen 3 is cheaper than the Gen 4. So, maybe it's completely pragmatic the SEALS chose the cheaper of the two?The SEALs just adopted the Gen 3 over the Gen 4.

Anyhow, I was at Cabelas a few months ago and they had a hell of a good deal. They had a G2 (that's right a G2 with no finger grooves) with a laser for $399. Unfortunately, I didn't have the funds to buy that bad boy, and, I've already invested a lot of $ in my G3 G23 (that I've got a 9mm barrel I can swap into, I call it my G2319). That was a damn good deal!
Glock is almost getting as bad as Beretta aren't they!Wait for the the Gen 5 - the OFFICIAL GUN OF THE FBI !
