got some cash thats burning a hole in my pocket for a new .45. It's down to two...the Glock G4 21 or the HK USP 45. They both feel good in my hand and I've shot both and liked both. Here's the kicker...the price. Because I'm LE, I can get the Glock for 469.00 with 3 high cap mags. The HK from Bud's (the cheapest I could find it for) is 760.00 with 2 high cap mags. So the HK with three mags would be around 810.00. Thats a difference of 350.00 +/-. I carry a Glock 22 for duty, a 27 as a BUG, and have a 17 for the home so Glocks are common around the house.
So, long story short, I'm kind of bored with the Glocks. Not that they are bad weapons (i've never had one fail), it just gets boring shooting basically the same weapon over and over (just different recoils). I tried the FNP, XD, and the S&W. The FNP felt like a brick, I didnt like the XD's grip, and I've always had problems with Smith's autos (and promised myself never to own a Smith again).
Also, if I get the Glock, i can carry it for duty. The HK I can't. For the price difference I can get another Glock...almost.
What do you guys think?
