glock/knife porn...

Just got a new OD Glock 20 and thought I would shoot some pics of it with one of the knives that I just finished up. The knife is a TK-9 Bowie with textured black G-10 and red liners.

Here is a picture of another knife I just finished with my trusty Glock 21. The knife in this picture is a TK10 Persian with a "smoke" finish and textured black/tan G-10

What do you think??

Trouble Typing

I am a regualr over on BF and thought to my self wow Tom Krien that is a real knife blade, then read your post and the words, "that I just finished up," stood out, then I looked at the username and it all made sence. I like the TK-9 myself.

That TK-9 Bowie is BEAUTIFUL. What's that run? Is it available in a combo blade partially serrated?

As always, the Krein knife is far more valuable than the 2x4 it is pictured with.

I know that in the past you have flat ground ZDP Spyderco Enduras, if you still do such things, can you, or someone you might recommend, flat grind a H1 Pacific Salt if I mount it into an Endura chassis? Apparently, all I have to do for the blade transplant is hog out the pivot hole on the drill press and I have a Gen 4 Salt, but I'd like to be rid of the saber grind while I am at it.

I don't even know if it is possible because the steel is so hard.

Your thoughts would be much appreciated.

Next time maybe don't clutter up the pix with the Glocks; the knives look great all by themselves. Nice work, I especially like the TK-9 Bowie; very clean design and superb craftsmanship.

I can regrind the H1 Spydies no problem! The ZDP-189 blades are MUCH more difficult to regrind!!

I'm not a fan of blades that have rivets in them, reminds me too much of handles of steak knives. Or getting blood evidence under the handle.

The guns are nice!

Those are not rivets they are Corby bolts (mechanical fasteners). The handle scales are also secured with epoxy, so nothing will be getting under the scales.

I don't even know anyone that uses rivets, and we all use epoxy under the handles. Tom is one of the best - nothing's getting under those handles.
