I went through two mag catch springs with my similar G30Gen4.
I recommend a completely new spring and not one taken out of another Glock, even if the other Glock is working fine.
I also recommend replacing the mag catch at the same time due to potential wear probably caused by the weak/bent mag catch spring.
After the mag catch and springs are replaced, should the mags also need replacing, at that point send the mags into Glock for replacement as the mags are more costly. Buy new mags first to confirm the problem and to have mags to use while the others are being sent back to Glock for replacement.
You don't even need to call Glock first, but ensure you're not in a state with mag capacity laws if you're sending in mags greater than 10 rounds.
Before you start messing with the mag catch spring you should think about these questions:
Do you have an extended release on your G21? If so, consider going back to the standard part.
Also, are you sure you are getting the mag fully latched in place? Especially when inserting a full mag on a closed slide, it can be difficult to latch the mag fully into the well.
If you decide to replace the spring, be very careful during the removal/installation. It needs to come STRAIGHT up out and go STRAIGHT back in. If you pull it out or push it back in at an angle, you can break the plastic around the hole it goes into--there's very little frame material where the hole is. If you ruin the hole, you have ruined the frame and that will cost you a pretty penny.
