Ok I"ve looked for an hour and can't find it. Can one of you fine upstanding gentlemen point me to the thread concerning the #2 Glock magazines failure to feed and how to fix/repair?

thanks

What model Glock are you using? Generation?

How many rounds since you've changed recoil springs?

Do you have a tac-light affixed?

These are the other questions that come to mind since I've taken care of feeding issues with my G22 this year.

G32c
First rounds put through this magazine.
nothing fixed to the pistol
Pistol is 1 year old and worked without issue until I used the new magazines (3 of them all with feed issue). #1 follower works without issues.

Hmm, never heard of that specific issue, but at least it's an easy fix. Buy new #1 followers. I've heard of people having issues using .357 in a .40 magazine before but this is different.

I finally found this on the Glock forum:

Some of the people on this forum had failures to feed with the G32 magazines that had #2 followers. The problem wasn't with the followers, it was the plastic "nubs" under the front of the feed lips. The same issue exists with the .40 magazines. The nubs can protrude too far toward the center of the magazine and can be rather inconsistent. You can round off the nubs, remove them entirely, or shave the face of the nub that faces the center of the magazine tube along with the 90 degree corner on the bottom of the nub.

In this post I describe how I modified one of my G23 magazines that was failing to feed the last round, click the bottom picture to see a drawing of the shaves I did to the nubs: http://www.glocktalk.com/forums/show...4&postcount=20

There can also be excess plastic covering the front of the feed lips, which was the case with my G23 magazine. I shaved that back as well, in the bottom picture of the post I linked above, that magazine does not have excess plastic covering the front of the feed lips.

Here are some other threads that dealt with the .357 magazines:

I'm glad you checked over there. I'm even a member of Glocktalk and I didn't even think to suggest it.
