I purchased a few new mags for a Glock 22 this morning. After leaving the gun store, I noticed the mags are each labeled, "RESTRICTED LE/GOVT ONLY"

None of the other magazines I have for this handgun has that designation and I have several other mags.

These are identical in size and capacity as all my others. Each of them are Glock.

Can someone tell me why these new mags would be different?

No big deal. Those are Brady Bill mags that went over 10 rounds for LEO. They are perfectly legal to own and use now in states that permit them. New York, New Jersey, Mass still have restrictions I believe but some of the other fellers who live up there would be better to answer that question.

I remember pre-purchasing mags marked as such right before the ban expired. The Glock and USP mags I ordered were less expensive than they are now, it was great to see that mark and not have to worry about it.
