I have heard that one can install a Wolff reduced power fire pin spring and bring the trigger pull down to around six pounds or a little less when used in conjunction with the NY1 trigger spring and 3.5 connector without affecting reliability.
I have the NY1 and 3.5 connector with stock fire pin spring and the trigger pull weight registers a consistant 7.2 lbs. on my pull scale with no reliability issues.
I would like to know since I really hate monkying around with the spring cups if it isn't going to offer any positive advantage. TIA
